Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains when and how PayPapi issues refunds for paid subscription plans. We want to be fair and transparent. If you have a question about a charge, contact us at support@paypapi.io before requesting a refund. We'll do our best to resolve it quickly.
1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
To exercise this right:
- contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase or free trial conversion at support@paypapi.io
- state clearly that you wish to withdraw from the contract
- include your account email and order reference
We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal request, using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
1.1 Waiver of withdrawal right
By starting to use the PayPapi Service before the 14-day withdrawal period expires, you expressly request early access and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal may be lost once the digital content has been fully performed. We will ask you to confirm this at checkout.
2. Standard Refund Policy (After 14-Day Period)
Outside the statutory 14-day withdrawal period, PayPapi subscriptions are generally non-refundable. Billing periods (monthly or annual) are charged in advance and we do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused time.
However, we will issue a full or partial refund at our discretion in the following circumstances:
- Service outage: the Service was unavailable or severely degraded for more than 24 consecutive hours due to issues on our side, and we were unable to provide an equivalent remedy
- Billing error: you were charged incorrectly (wrong amount, duplicate charge, or charge after confirmed cancellation)
- Material feature removal: a significant feature you subscribed for was permanently removed without notice and no suitable alternative was offered
- Wrongful termination: your account was terminated by us without cause
3. Annual Plan Refunds
If you purchase an annual plan and wish to cancel within the first 14 days, we will offer a refund for the unused months (calculated as: annual fee ÷ 12 × unused full months remaining), minus any applicable processing fees.
After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you may cancel at any time to prevent renewal. You will retain access until the end of the paid annual period.
4. Free Trial
Free trials are not charged. If you cancel during a free trial, no payment will have been taken and no refund is applicable. If your trial converts to a paid plan and you wish to cancel, the standard refund terms in sections 1 and 2 apply.
5. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
- one-time add-ons or professional services fees
- charges for exceeding plan usage limits where you were notified in advance
- subscriptions that were suspended or terminated due to a breach of our Terms and Conditions
- currency conversion losses or bank/card fees charged by your financial institution
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@paypapi.io with the following information:
- the email address associated with your PayPapi account
- your order or invoice number
- the reason for the refund request
- any supporting evidence (e.g. screenshots of errors or billing discrepancies)
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and issue a decision within 10 business days. If approved, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Unauthorised chargebacks may result in the suspension of your account pending investigation. If a chargeback is found to be unjustified, we reserve the right to recover the disputed amount plus any associated fees.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated by email and posted on our website. Your statutory rights as an EU consumer are not affected by any changes to this policy.
